"Twelve years on and off and i'm back again as a dj with the odd surpise of spitting a killer rhyme or two. I've been involved with a number of shows and worked the decks in Sam Jacks Newcastle. Trained up by Mudfoot Blaps of GMC (Below) in the early days i'm now part of the KTF. Currently working on my first mix-tape album coming around just after the new year featuring some new unheard mc talent in the North-East including myself. Brrraaappp!"

The Click

(Above) Smooth Jezza & Double U

We all have to work hard to achieve our goals in life and this is what these boys are doing for the next five months. Their debut album 'And I'm Out' co-produced by Theorist and S.A. will be hitting stores summer time this year and will also be available on iTunes.

'The Click' (Jamie aka Smooth Jay, Gary aka Double U) are moving up in the music world and will be signed to a new found label very soon.

Sleeping in recording studio's isn't fun but when work needs to be done, it needs to get done. Mr Brian Martin, the business brain behind this amazing act was able to offer studio time to "The Click" to get the ball rolling. So if anything PFL Audio is to thank.

Their album is going to be massive and with a few big gigs lined up, no buildings foundations will be able to withstand their impressive impact. With sick beats from the boys behind the scenes, they will definitely have the naughty north east pumping in no time!

Ghetto Method Collective

"The GMC, established in 2005, was a coming together of local heads determined to see the key values of hip hop re established across all genres of music, arts and culture. We believe in building a community in the North East that can present itself on a global stage, supporting all the djs, emcees, writers, bboys, musicians, artists and performers so they can make a wage and stay in the north to continue its rich cultural heritage. We are proud to support KTF and its solid work to promote the wealth of talent our cities offer."

BARZ.IN is an artist/ producer/ multi-instrumentalist, from Newcastle upon Tyne. Born into a multi-cultural family of musicians, actors and writers. His love affair with music began at an early age, whilst listening to a wide range styles of music. “You’d never know what you’d hear next, one minute it’s The Beatles, the next minute my dad would have on the Iranian version of Tom Jones!”

When he was ten, his mind was blown by the sample soaked, heavy grooves of Hip-Hop. This twitched a muscle in his musical mind, leading him to discover the original artists & their instruments. BARZ.IN is now a multi-instrumentalist, comfortable behind a number of instruments.

His latest project is titled ‘The Barz.in Sound from Way Out’, a ten track Beastie Boys remix . This genre spanning album sees BARZ.IN fully flex his musical muscles, incorporating all the sounds locked away in his vault. Coming December 2010.

So Far!

‘Keep The Faith’(KTF) is a collective of like-minded people who are working together to put the North East of England on the map through music, fashion, art and entertainment. Our ethos is simple, ‘One Eats, We All Eat’, meaning we help each other like all good families do.

At present we have released the 1st installment of our North East Bangers CD series, featuring some of the North East’s finest Hip Hop, R&B and Rap artists. The CD album was launched at the end of April 2010 at various venues across the North East. The 1st venue that the CD was launched in was Mushroom Trebles Bar in Newcastle City Centre. It was received with a great reception and put North East hip hop and KTF on the map.

Our 2nd release was a harder mix of hip hop entitled 'Northern Monkeez' The launch was at Trent House in Newcastle. Another great night of live performances from the best rappers, djs and beat boxers in the North made it go with a bang.

We are continuing to grow and create our fan base. With the best artists in this half of the country, a strong work ethic and great productions we can only go from strength to strength.
